Formación de Operadores (Empresas)

Course Objective:

This module continues operator training and it is fundamental in helping the Operator on developing precision in his/her operation practices both in Harvesting Operations and in Wood Extraction Operations. This Module also continues on giving the Operator a better understanding of the technical aspects of the equipment maintenance.

To whom is it oriented:
To people between 22 to 35 years of age involved in mechanized forestry operations interested in improving their operations skills. Applicants need to have approved the Initial Operator Training Program as well as the Intermediate Operator Program to be eligible for this course.*

Classroom Material:
Training Manual and CD

Work load Classroom and Sim. Training:
40 hours (5 days)
Field Training Work load:
40 hours (5 days) 

Day 1 – ELECTRICITY AND ELECTRONICS

 

  • Electricity and Electronics basic Concepts.
  • Electric diagrams and wiring.
  • Batteries.
  • Start-up motor.
  • Alternator.
  • Communications network
  • Engine Control Unit (Onboard engine PC)
  • Use of Electrical instruments.
  • Electricity and Electronics Lab.

Days 2 and 3 - HYDRAULICS

 

  • Hydraulics basic Concepts.
  • Applications in Forestry Equipment.
  • Hydrostatic Transmission.
  • Hydraulic Pumps and Motors.
  • Hydraulic Hose structure and correct assembly
  • Hydraulic Diagrams.
  • Hydraulics Lab
Day 4 -  CONTROL SYSTEMS 3

    • Feeding

Days 6 to 10 – FIELD TRAINING

 

 

 

  • Field follow-up of techniques acquired during the simulator training.
  • Calibration exercises.
